ULTRAROOF ON ORANGERY
We gave this existing orangery a whole new lease of life just by exchanging its current roof for the UltraRoof.
Use of this orangery had started to become a thing of the past for the people who live here as the extension had ceased providing them with a pleasant setting for the majority of the year. Rather than do nothing about the situation and see the space go wasted, they contacted Amber for a potential solution and we suggested the UltraRoof.
After measuring up ahead of removing the old roof, we pre-manufactured a significant amount of the UltraRoof off-site to make the installation process easy. Featuring three glass panels, it feels warm and spacious throughout the day, and the spotlights help it remain light at night.
The UltraRoof is a very lightweight system, but we replaced the current windows and doors to give the occupants reassurance that the structure could cope with the weight of a new roof. French doors were also placed into the design, and they have that same Golden Oak finish for uniformity.
Offering a delightful double opening, they enable the people inside the conservatory to break free from the conservatory for a short time and savour the sights and sounds from the patio area. Full credit goes to the UltraRoof for restoring smiles to the faces of everyone.
