SURVEYING

An Amber surveying team will visit you and take measurements of your property. The surveyor will also clarify certain details and check that your design is suitable for installation and manufacture. You can take this opportunity to talk about any changes, if you wish.

If planning permission is needed, they’ll also gather all the required information to include with the application.

What Happens Next - Surveying

PLANNING & BUILDING REGS

Any planning application that is required will be submitted on your behalf, along with all relevant information and drawings.

For Full Householder Planning Permission, this can take anywhere up to 10 weeks. For NCS approval, the process is a little quicker at around 6-8 weeks. But this can vary on a case-by-case basis

SCHEDULE OF WORKS

We will assign a schedule of works and coordinate all the fitting and installation teams on your behalf. We’ll be the main point of contact, so you can rest easy as we do the work.

If required, we’ll check in with you to discuss any power and water requirements so you know well ahead of time what’s needed.

BUILDING & INSTALLATION

Your Amber building team will discuss brick options and ensure that there’s as close a match to your property as possible.

We’ll also oversee all the various tradespeople who’ll be working on your project, so you can be safe in the knowledge everything is being taken care of.

FINISHING

Once installed, we’ll check that you’re happy with the installation and work to rectify any final snagging.

Then, once everything is signed off, you’re free to enjoy your brand-new living space!

PROFESSIONALISM

You’ll be given a firm fitting date, usually between 3 to 6 weeks hence. An installation manager will make sure that all the building work runs smoothly in advance to meet this date, starting with a professional site survey and concluding with a satisfaction questionnaire.
