GREY CONSERVATORY WITH BI-FOLD DOORS
You don’t always need an endless amount of space to extend a home, not when the compact Lean-To can be integrated into a compressed space.
When short on space at home, before you immediately rule out the possibility of extending your home believing it to be impossible to add a conservatory, speak to Amber Home Improvements. Very wisely, the occupants of this house did exactly that, and we managed to fashion a perfectly compact Lean-To conservatory that integrated into their existing home setup perfectly. It might look on the small side from the outside, but when you get inside, it’s a whole different story. There was plenty of room for some furniture and even a bi-folding door. When open, the bi-folds further extend the conservatory outwards.
The slenderness of the sightlines enabled us to include very large panes of glass in the roof, windows and doors. With so much glass comes a very steady stream of sunshine, and as we know, bright spaces usually feel sizeable. Some people may have concerns about there being so much glass, with the potential for it to overheat the space. But, we use thermally efficient glass with extremely low U-values, so the internal temperature will always feel just right. Coated in an on-trend grey finish, the Lean-To conservatory couldn’t look more at home than it does.
