Have just had the rear of my houses windows replaced by Amber after having the front windows and exterior doors replaced by them a year back .l am so pleased with the results and couldn't recomend them higher.l know this is only one person's review but 5 stars from me. Very pleased david palgrave suffolk.

Overall a good and honest company with good products. We had windows and doors fitted by an excellent team. My only concern is when things are faulty. I had a sealed unit that was marked and it took several weeks to get it replaced .1st replacement was faulty and had to be reordered.Some handles that I wanted replacing on existing products proved a problem . This was due to poor measuring by surveyer and poor communication with the person who order them.

Design consultant was friendly and on time.The door fitter did excellent job.The wrong glass was fitted in the door the side panels were fine . The door glass was eventually sorted .Overall i am pleased.

Once again a great professional job. Smart, excellent, quality product, looks amazing so so pleased Couldn't fault the workmanship of everyone involved. I would very highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to use again if only I could

Would really recommend Amber for any work you might need doing. They have been lovely people to work with from start to finish, and any issues which have arisen have been dealt with quickly. Special mention for the fitter who came to our house - was a really lovely guy and very efficient and accommodating to our comings and goings throughout the day! 

Amber people, products & service are all professionally excellent. Cheyenne greeted us warmly on entering Showroom. Paul Edwards visited our cottage & knowledgeably guided us through designing styles for x 17 replacement windows. Kayleigh's quote was fractionally cheaper than 2 competitors. No petty haggling (as in rife in this sector), first price was final price & NO chasing for our decision. Deposit Paid. Steve surveyed to fine-tune our needs & set installation date. Major problem with incorrect design discovered on delivery to site, but rapidly resolved by Dean. Error was by third-party manufacturer in Wakefield but within 3 days Dean ensured x 11 remanufactured & returned windows are back on site. Amazing installers Scott & John worked tirelessly, tidily & to an exceptional standard. Now, several weeks later, not a single issue has emerged. Neighbour said to me last week 'Your new windows look lovely, I see you went for timber again'. That comment was wonderful since carefully selecting 'flush' style uPVC windows with Paul Edwards was to make out 250 y.o. cottage look as traditional as possible yet with the practicality of uPVC. I suggest you also explore having twin windows opening without a central vertical strut - giving a wide-open space instead (called a flying mullion). Start to finish was a great experience with Amber. If you are honest, open & professional with them, that is what you will get in return. Highly recommended.

We ordered a large number of casement windows and a patio door. Upon installation there were a number of blemishes in the glass and minor defects in a few of the frames. It would have been best if these could have been identified before the installation took place. These resulted in a number of units having to be replaced. The installation team were efficient and there was no issue with replacing the defective items. However, it took a long time for the replacement units to be available and communication was poor around the timescales for this. Overall, we are very happy with the quality of our new windows and patio door - no more draughts through ill-fitting wooden sash windows!

Removal of old conservatory/build work for new installation and installation of new unit were separated by weeks, rather than days, which was inconvenient. Subsequently a failure of communication between two people who work together left us unable to use our washing machine for close to a month. An annoying part of a very good job.

We are extremely pleased with the french doors and windows, excellent quality. We were particularly impressed with the attention to detail for the fitting - the trims and finishing touches were really good. This extra care and detail has made the difference and we would definitely use them again.

We had 2 large french doors and sliding doors fitted to 2 homes and both we fitted on time, with quality products fitted by excellent fitters and service throughout was first class and prices very competitive to boot!

Having used Amber windows for many years, we always go back to a tried and tested company.  A good all round sales team starting at the top, all the way down to the office staff. Very friendly all round service, quality of windows is excellent, the fitters do a very good job making sure to protect your household items, leave your house in the way they found it, clearing up and even cleaning the windows. Can’t speak highly enough for the great service.

Had Glass Room/Conservatory plus 2 set Bifold doors fitted. Brilliant made such lot difference to light coming into house. Could not be happier. Quality and fitting perfect ( couple minor faults but rectified) Highly recommend. 

Amber have been working with us throughout 2021 on a 100% replacement of our doors and windows plus a new build orangery. From helping us to think through what we needed, designing it to meet our specific requirements to installation later this year, they were with us every step of the way. The quality of the product is second to none, with both the replacement windows and doors and the orangery. There was no 'sales pressure', simply a sense that they wanted to deliver the best for us. The reason for the four stars rather than five was due to the building team for the orangery. They did a reasonable job but their attitude left a bit to be desired. They also 'forgot' to build a brick pillar on the orangery and we had to remind them about it on the last day of the build. All got rectified and we have been delighted with the result. Everyone who has seen the orangery has been 'wowed' by it. Amber could not have been more helpful throughout and I would recommend them totally.

My windows and front door were installed within a few hours. No mess and speedy. The installer was funny and pleasant. 

Good communication throughout, happy with service and quality of work

Amber recently installed a complete new roofline, replaced all  16 external windows  and 3 external doors. Given the size of the installation, I was expecting it to be very expensive. However, I was pleasantly surprised with how competitive the pricing was. The whole process, from the sales director visiting me at home to offer some advice, the surveyors visit to measure up and the installation work itself was very well organised. They kept me informed every step of the way. I am extremely pleased with the results, it has given my house a fantastic face lift. The products are excellent. The 2 man installation team was outstanding. They arrived every day bang on time and worked their socks off! They were expected to take 6 working days to complete the installation but they managed to finish in 5 days which gave me the weekend to tidy up. Not that I had much to do as the guys cleared away every day leaving very little mess. I did have an issue with my new front door when after it had been in for a few weeks it settled and I found it difficult to lock the handle. I called the customer services team, it was a Friday, and they arranged for the maintenance engineer to come round later that day who adjusted the keeps so now my door works perfectly. They even arranged for another engineer to visit me the following Monday morning to check everything was ok. Brilliant customer service, well done Amber. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Chose amber to fit my front windows and i am glad I did. The fitter was very polite and made no mess either. Top job and the windows are good quality with 20 year guarantee. Highly recommended

My late husband always dealt with Amber home improvements and I needed some new double glazed windows so naturally chose Amber. Some of the large sash windows had to be fitted from the inside because of the reveals and shutters inside. This was no problem for them and right from the initial meeting through to the fitting they were the upmost professionals. They were polite, understanding and friendly. The fitters left no mess and apart from the great new windows youwould never no they had been here. Very, very impressed. Thank you Amber

The sales team were very good at helping us choose our french doors. We had a problem when we were given a fitting date due to scaffold being around our house as we were having our roof done and that seemed to take forever. The company were very good and waited until the scaffold was removed before giving us another date. The workmen were very friendly and left the garden and work area clean when finished. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone who asks

This is the second time we have used Amber Homes,one for a new conservatory and again for a solid porch roof and a new door. each time the company made a wonderfull job, we could not fault the service in any way, top class workmanship from the men and nothing was to much trouble for them from arriving on time to clearing up at the end of the day, one day they worked from 8-30am till 6-pm with hardly a break to get the work done. their services are beyond what we expected and are over the moon with their services and they deserve to do well. Would definately recommend on quality, price and quality of workmanship. Fitters were friendly, efficient, polite and tidy. From the initial contact through the consultation and survey we were kept informed of progress. Alround efficient, competative and quality product and service.
